Creative Job Seeking

This past year has brought out the best, and worst, in job seekers. People were (are) unemployed for far longer than they had anticipated or planned for. Losing faith in the traditional methods, they got resourceful. Here are a few of our favourite Creative Job Seekers:
Wilson Lauture wore his story on his chest. More here.
Eric Jacobsen used part of his severance to rent this billboard in Austin, TX. More here.
Lawson Clarke created the website www.MaleCopywriter.com to showcase his skills. More here.
Tony Steiner set him self apart by hosting a sidewalk free breakfast, serving bagels, coffee and water in front of the company where he wanted to work. More here.
Question for recruiters: How effective are these types of stunts? Have you experienced any?
