Jobs aren't appearing on TwitJobSearch?
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 1:16PM Having trouble getting your jobs to appear on TwitJobSearch? Here are some quick tips to increase the likelihood that our search engine will find your jobs:
1. Full Job Title: Ensure your tweet has a full job title (ex. use 'manager' and not 'mgr').
2. No ReTweets: Avoid using the letters 'RT', as we assume you are retweeting a job and that your job is a duplicate.
3. HashTags? We don't care!: Feel free to include hashtags if you'd like, we do not include or exclude jobs based on hashtags.
4. Include a Link / URL: Include a valid link to the full job description.
5. Can Twitter Find You?: Verify that your account is being picked up by twitter. Go to Twitter Search and type "from:username" into the search box, but replace 'username' with your username. If your tweets do not appear here, then they will not appear on TJS and you should contact Twitter help.

If you've done all this and your tweets are still not being picked up by our search engine, there are alternatives:
- Post your jobs via the TJS Post a Job form. Your jobs will automatically be indexed to TJS and tweeted via your twitter account. (tip: if you do not have a link for your job, this option is ideal as it lets you add a job description and method to apply)
- Have us tweet your jobs for you. By either providing us with an XML feed or allowing us to scrape your site, we can tweet your jobs via your twitter account on your behalf. (tip: this method is great for people with lots of jobs) Click here to view the feed specifications or to submit your feed.
